Document & Media Data: Receipts, warranty cards, invoices, and images that you scan or upload. These records remain stored locally on your device unless you explicitly choose to back them up to your cloud account.
Device & Diagnostics Data: Non-personally identifiable technical information (such as device model, OS version, and crash diagnostics) to maintain app stability and resolve issues.
Advertising Identifiers: Advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID) processed via third-party advertising SDKs to serve contextual or personalized ads.

2. Cloud Backups & Integrations

If you connect Knotz to Google Drive or other external cloud services, the application accesses your account solely to create, update, or restore backups initiated by you. Knotz does not access, inspect, or transfer your private documents to external servers without your explicit authorization.

3. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob)

Knotz displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Google AdMob and its advertising partners may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and interaction metrics to deliver relevant advertisements.

4. Data Ownership & Deletion

You retain full ownership of your documents and data. You can delete individual documents or clear all app data at any time directly within the Knotz app or by clearing storage in your device settings.

5. Children's Privacy

Knotz is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
